Micropayments are still not there yet.

I find it pretty discouraging to hear the folks at Jupiter Media Metrix say
that 'pay for content' is not going to be a huge success. I'd like the believe that the content would be compelling enough for a 'micropayment
' of some sort. Ars Technica
would be, in my opinion, a good example where the pay-for content is worth buying. And I think it's interesting to note that the stuff worth paying for online is generally far superior than the shwag we pay for at the grocery store counter (imho).
