Beginning sometime soon, my office mate (Lee) will begin posting to this here weblog type thing. I've made a few changes to the data under the blog postings to help show who is posting what, because I'm guessing Lee and I will likely be talking about similar things. I want you know who you are yelling at when you post your comments :)

You'll have the change the title to In Our Experience, and that's going to wreak havoc on the logo.

Seriously, that's interesting news, Dan. I'm curious to read some of Lee's thoughts.

Hello Lee!

Not only the logo, but the domain name :) but I suppose if we look at things within the context of an individual post, that post will still be from the individual's experience.

/me grasps at straws

And I too am curious to read some of her thoughts. She's been part of the web zine scene for a long time, but new to blogging (which isn't much diff).

The terms "lee" and "web" invariably make this connection in my mind.

Welcome, Lee!

Here are some more straws for you to grasp at, Dan... www.popstraw.com -- failed company that one of our local politicians lost a lot of money on. One of my clients gave me two cases of their (plastic tasting) bottled water this weekend (the aforementioned politician had given him part of his remaining stock in hopes he could help find a Russian market for it). Talk about a stupid idea....

Cool I started having multile authors on my site and it was a great idea. I have to smack them once and a while but it has really worked out.

Will you be adding the author element to the RSS feed so all of RSS readers know who's saying what?

-Posted by Joshua Kaufman on March 10, 2003 05:28 PM

Yep, good call. My best guess right now is adding a dc:contributor element to each blog item. Who knows how it might or might not be rendered by the aggregators.

I have met Lee (unless I am terribly confused). Lee is smart.

Welcome Lee!

Also, there's no name on the individual entry archive page.

-Posted by Joshua Kaufman on March 11, 2003 04:59 PM

Ok, I added dc:contributor to the RSS file and brought the Individual Archive Template inline with the home index file (so you'll always know who posted what).

Thanks for pointing these items out Josh :)

Comment posting has been turned off because I don't have enough time and will to deal with the constant comment spamming. I'm very sorry and will fix this sometime soon (soon = before 2004 ends).
