wifey & i are such a fan of silhouettes. july 4 weekend i spent about 20 minutes getting schooled by our photographer friend on how to properly take silhouettephotos using a manual camera. :)

this one's nice. i wish it could have been just a wee bit lighter out, still with the rest of the elements being shadows.

This shows up darker on the PC, and I darkened it to begin with. In the original photo, you can see some of the details on the house in the background on the right.

Also, there's a ton of jpeg artifacting in this image. I'll probably put up a diff version seomtime after our current crunch time is over at work.
